Lee Law and Other Global Leaders Unite at IACC 2025 to Combat Counterfeiting

The International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) hA concluded its 2025 Annual Conference.. The event brought together over 300 professionals from global brands, e-commerce platforms, law enforcement agencies, and Lee Law to address the escalating challenges of intellectual property (IP) theft and counterfeiting.

  • Strategic Partnerships: E-commerce platform Temu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IACC to enhance cooperation on IP protection. Temu also joined the newly established Marketplace Advisory Council (MAC), alongside Amazon, eBay, Mastercard, PayPal, Visa, Apple, Chanel, Disney, and Nike, aiming to set new standards in combating counterfeit goods online

  • Expert Panels and Workshops: The conference featured sessions on enforcement strategies, digital piracy, and global IP trends. Notable discussions included a case study on dismantling counterfeit pharmaceutical networks in Mexico and a panel on the role of AI in brand protection

  • Law Enforcement Collaboration: A pre-conference training on May 13, co-hosted with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), provided a platform for brands to engage directly with federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, fostering stronger collaboration in IP enforcement efforts.
