When you receive a letter from this firm, your first instinct may be to ignore it and hope the problem goes away. Unfortunately, problems like this don’t just disappear and OtterBox and LifeProof have filed another new lawsuit against an eBay seller distributing counterfeit product.
In a Complaint filed in the Southern District of New York that can be found here, OtterBox and LifeProof have asserted that the eBay seller, Mark Zuber, know as accesorize-electronics, has repeatedly been caught selling counterfeit products. According to the Complaint, Mr. Zuber has ignored letters, emails, and phone calls demanding that he cease his illegal activities. Time and time again, Mr. Zuber has ignored all requests to respond.
Ignoring such claims will not make them disappear. Instead, Mr. Zuber now finds himself entrenched in a costly lawsuit.
